Where It Started

A House with Potential

The property had good bones — generous rooms, double-height windows overlooking the garden and pool, and a rooftop terrace with views across the neighbourhood. But everything inside was dated: tired wood floors, basic white kitchens, mosaic-tiled bathrooms from another era, and a layout that didn't make the most of the space.

How We Found It

Left in Ruins

When our client hired us, the house had already been partially demolished by a previous contractor. Floors ripped out, walls stripped, kitchens and bathrooms gutted — and then abandoned. This is the state we found it in on day one.

Bathrooms

Where Luxury Lives

The bathrooms were one of the biggest transformations in this house. Dated mosaic tiles and basic white fittings gave way to walnut vanities with quartz tops, brass sconces, skylight-flooded spaces, and hand-laid herringbone floors. Each bathroom has its own personality — from the master suite with its double vanity and soaking tub to the guest bath with its sculptural sculptural basin and brass pendant.

Where Everything Comes Together

The open plan is the heart of this home — a quartz-topped kitchen island with SMEG range and warm wood cabinetry flows into a living space furnished with leather club chairs, a cream sofa, and a Persian rug that grounds everything. Double-height windows flood the room with light and frame the garden views. The fireplace was kept, rebuilt, and made the centrepiece of the lounge.

Warm, Collected, Personal

Each bedroom has its own character — wood ceiling fans, hand-picked artwork, textured rugs and linens. The master bedroom opens to the garden through sliding doors and features warm wall-mounted lamps and a painted Tibetan chest. The second bedroom uses a kilim tapestry as a headboard accent and a traditional Persian rug to anchor the space.
