Turnkey Renovation
in Cascais

One licensed team handles everything — from your first design meeting to the day we hand you the keys to a finished, furnished home. No subcontractors. No coordination headaches. Just results.

What You Get

What is a Turnkey Renovation?

A turnkey renovation is exactly what the name suggests: you give us the keys at the start, and we give them back when your home is completely finished — designed, built, furnished, and ready to live in. No tradesmen to manage, no suppliers to chase, no decisions to make alone at 11pm.

At Maya's Homes, turnkey is not a marketing phrase — it is the only way we work. Maja leads every project from initial concept through to final styling. Her in-house team of 8 specialists handles every trade: demolition, electrical, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, painting, and furniture placement. Everything under one roof, one contract, one standard of quality.

This model is especially well-suited to international buyers and investors who cannot be in Cascais throughout the renovation process. Maja works in 7 languages and provides regular photo and video updates at every stage, so you stay fully informed no matter where you are in the world.

How We Work

The Maya's Homes Process

Three clear stages. One continuous team. No handoffs between strangers.

01
Stage One

Design & Concept

We start with a site visit and a detailed briefing. Maja listens — your lifestyle, your aesthetic, your budget. From that conversation she develops a full design concept: floor plans, material palettes, and photorealistic 3D renders so you can see exactly what you are approving before a single wall is touched.

Pre-purchase assessment is available at this stage for buyers who have not yet signed a promissory contract — Maja evaluates the property condition and gives you realistic cost estimates before you commit.

02
Stage Two

Build & Manage

Once the design is approved, our in-house team takes over. Demolition, structural work, all technical trades, tiling, custom carpentry, painting — every element is executed by our own specialists under Maja's direct supervision. No subcontractors enter the site, which means no quality gaps and no coordination delays.

All Maya's Homes projects are carried out under IMPIC licence 97976-PAR, ensuring full legal compliance and accountability throughout the build phase.

03
Stage Three

Deliver & Hand Over

The final stage is what makes a turnkey renovation genuinely turnkey. Maja sources and installs all furniture, lighting, textiles, and decorative accessories — everything specified in the original design concept. When we hand back the keys, your home is finished. Not 90% finished. Finished.

Remote clients receive a full video walkthrough before handover. You arrive in Cascais to a home that is ready to live in from day one.

"I founded Maya's Homes because I was tired of relying on subcontractors whose standards I could not control. If my name is on the project, every part of it has to meet my standard — and the only way to guarantee that is to do it ourselves."

Common Questions

Turnkey Renovation — FAQ

A turnkey renovation means we handle every stage of the project — from the initial design concept and 3D renders, through all construction trades, to final furniture placement and styling. You hand us the keys at the start and receive a fully finished, furnished home at the end. Nothing is left for you to organise or coordinate.
Timelines depend on the scope and size of the property. A T1 apartment typically takes 8–12 weeks from construction start to handover. A T2 runs 12–18 weeks, and a T3 or villa can take 18–28 weeks. Design and permit phases happen beforehand and are agreed at the project outset.
